It is my pleasure and honor, as chairperson of the organizing committee, to invite you to the “The 3rd ASIAN CLINICAL CONGRESS (ACC3) ” to be held in Tokyo, Japan on September 3-5, 2015, following the second ACC organized by Professor Dr. Koji Abe in Kyoto in 2014.
Revolutionary medical discoveries and inventions seem to appear quite regularly these days, and often they have an impact on more than one clinical field. Rarely do we get an opportunity to bring about a large gathering of health workers, irrespective of field of practice. Our clinical committee is a group of diverse clinicians who strive to achieve excellence in medical care by enabling such interactions on a global scale. Although this conference will focus on an Asian perspective, medical doctors and other professionals from all over the world are welcome to join the discussions and become part of a worldwide network of collaboration.
Tokyo has flourished as the political, economic, and cultural heart of Japan, and indeed has been selected to host the Olympic and Paralympic Games in summer 2020. Tokyo offers everything from the latest fashion and innovative architecture to traditional cityscapes and cultures, as well as some of the world’s best food. You can easily access Asakusa, which is reminiscent of traditional Edo (the former name of Tokyo), the computer center Akihabara, and large-scale downtown Ginza.
The meeting venue, Tokai University Club, is conveniently located in the center of Tokyo (Kasumigaseki) just next to Edo castle. The meeting will be a great opportunity to present interesting discoveries and innovations in various fields of medical science. The organizing committee looks forward to an excellent attendance at the 3rd Asian Clinical Congress, which will offer both an enjoyable scientific program and entertaining social and cultural events.
